Dr. Gucciardo and staff are on duty five days a week and are trained and equipped to handle many urgent care needs your pet(s) may have. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open on a case-by-case basis.
Certain emergencies may require immediate or critical care that would be best suited for a 24-hour facility. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, we ask that you please call the office so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen, our staff will work to "squeeze" you in between other scheduled appointments, but please be advised that you may experience a long wait to see the doctor.
If you call the office outside of our regular business hours, you will have the option to be transferred via phone directly to Atlantic Coast Veterinary Specialists. They will be happy to see your pet for any emergency needs. Please keep in mind they do not have access your pets medical records.
